From my point of view, it is alright if fresh graduate doctors want to stay longer in oversea right after the graduation. Besides they will earn more if they chose to go to a country which offered a better pay, they will also gain experience and more knowledge because we can say that there are more technological tools in those countries compare to Malaysia.
But that doesn’t mean that they can stay there forever because we need their expertise. Once they have stabilized, they should come home and contribute towards nation building by serving the Malaysian. It is not about you think that you owe the people who helped you but it is about your responsibility to your family in your country and it is compatible with a character a doctor should have.
So, if fresh graduate doctors decide to stay longer in oversea, let them be because they will come home with a full preparation to serve the people. But after a moment in time and they are still refuse to return, I think the government should do something such as hold their visa to make them come back home and serve the people in Malaysia.
